Jamestown was named after King James, the people of jamestown were all men at first because they were not profitable. Then there soil and climate was gold, They started to grow tobacco and became very profitable. Then women came over and kids,the first english kid was born in Jamestown, and her name was pocahontas .The Indians did not like them a lot, but they became a very good town and tobacco source.
